Louis Petit de Julleville (July 18, 1841 - August 28, 1900) was a French scholar. He was born in Paris. Educated at the École Normale Supérieure, and at the French School at Athens, he received his doctorate in literature in 1868. After holding various posts as a teacher he became professor of French medieval literature and of the history of the French language in the university of Paris in 1886.
